Power lines were strained due to the weather in Buffalo Grove and Mount Prospect Tuesday night. Heavy, wet snow caused power lines to fall across Lake Cook Road near Arlington Heights Road. Buffalo Grove police had to block Lake Cook Road west of Arlington Heights Road until Com Ed crews came to repair the lines. [...]
