Rolling Meadows police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 6:32 AM Thursday to a report of a utility pole on fire near Kirchoff Road and Chapman Court. Police on the scene first reported that the pole was burned through about three-quarters “of the way” and about to fall into the roadway. Com Ed called to the scene.
