Rolling Meadows firefighter/paramedics responded about 5:01:47 AM Saturday to a fence fire at Meadow and Kirchoff The fire was extinguished within a few minutes. Police and firefighter/paramedics reported that the fence fire was suspicious and called out a fire investigator to the scene.

Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 9:25 p.m. Saturday to a report of a porta-potty on fire at Edgar Allan Poe School, 2800 North Highland Avenue. Police received a report that children may have tossed something inside the porta-potty. Firefighters extinguished the fire, which destroyed the porta-potty.
