Palatine firefighter/paramedics and Illinois State Police responded about 3:08 PM Monday to a pin-in crash on Route 53 right under the Euclid Avenue overpass. Two people were injured. One person was trapped in their vehicle for about 10 minutes. The crash location was incorrectly called in as Rotue 53, just south of Northwest Highway.
