Mount Prospect firefighters responded about 7:10 a.m. Saturday to a fire in basement of an apartment in the 900 block of Wheeling Road. Fire was extinguished within 10 minutes. No injuries reported. Arlington Heights responded with a paramedic ambulance to Walmart and Des Plaines responded with an engine to Walmart for a medical call.
