Arlington Heights police responded to a report about 8:50 a.m. Monday of a dog that appeared to be abused in an apartment in the 500 block of Circle Hill Drive. Police and the Animal Welfare officer responded. The dog was transported to an animal hospital by the Animal Welfare officer.
