Attack on Caretakers at Residence on East Avon

Arlington Heights police responded to a report about 4:30 p.m. Thursday of an attack by a resident on caretakers at a residence in the 1800 block of East Avon. Apparently the victims were not seriously injured, but the attack was of a serious nature that required several police officers to respond.

Buffalo Grove Car Burglary on West Dundee Road

Buffalo Grove police received a report about 8:15 p.m. Monday of a burglary to vehicle in the 1200 block of West Dundee Road in Buffalo Grove — a retail parking lot south of Dundee Road near Grove Drive. The back window of a Nissan Armada was smashed and a purse was stolen.

Arlington Heights police received a report about 7:55 a.m. Wednesday that a man in a tan minivan pulled down his pants and exposed his ‘bottom’ to a woman selling candy at the intersection of Golf Road and Arlington Heights Road. Arlington Heights police are investigating.

Attempted Burglary on Haven Drive
