Small Passenger Bus and Small SUV Crash at Perkins Rd and Franklinville Rd, Woodstock Injures at Least 8

McHenry County Sheriff’s deputies and Woodstock firefighter/paramedics responded about 8:15 AM Thursday January 11, 2018 to a report of a crash with multiple injuries at Perkins Rd and Franklinville Rd Woodstock, Il .
Woodstock firefighter/paramedics arrived to find a small SUV involved in a crash with an unmarked small passenger bus transporting several adults. The small SUV had severe front end damage. Both vehicles were just off Franklinville Road in a small ditch on a property at the northeast corner of Franklinville Road and Perkins Road.

A MABAS EMS Box Alarm was activated by 8:25 a.m., and eight people were transported to three area Centegra hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the SUV may have suffered more serious injuries.

Franklinville Road was closed from Kunde Road to Perkins Road for about one hour.

MABAS Division 5 Box Alarm on Box #5-52 for a crash with multiple injuries.

An initial report stated that the bus involved in the crash was a senior living or senior care bus.
