Streamwood police responded about 11:50 PM Sunday November 12, 2017 to a bank robbery at the TCF Bank in Jewel-Osco, 217 East Irving Park Road Streamwood, IL. Police received a report that a man robbed the bank while implying he had a weapon.
The offender was described as a male/Hispanic, in his early 30s, 5’3″ with a medium build, black hair with glasses, beard and and a mustache, wearing a black hat and a brown checkered jacket, and blue jeans.
No direction of travel or vehicle description was initially available.
A man, also described as a male/Hispanic, robbed the TCF Bank in Jewel-Osco in Schaumburg at 2501 West Schaumburg Road about 40 minutes earlier at 11:10 a.m. The banks are 2.5 miles apart via Barrington Road and Irving Park Road.
