Woman Temporarily Escapes Police Custody, Leads Lufkin (Texas) Police on Chase in Their Own Police SUV

A Texas woman in custody gets out of her handcuffs takes off with police SUV (Chevy Tahoe) … after a pursuit she crashes the Lufkin Police Department Tahoe SUV.

A woman temporarily escaped custody of the Lufkin Police Department (Texas) on Saturday September 2, 2017 at about 5:40 p.m. when she wriggled out of her handcuffs and moved from the back seat of the Chevy Tahoe to the driver’s seat. She manage to escape while police were occupied going through her purse.

A short vehicle pursuit occurred until she lost control of the police SUV. Police had to break into their own vehicle to access her as she was allegedly attempting to access the police shotgun on board.
