Buffalo Grove police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 8:33 PM Tuesday August 8, 2017 to a report of an oven fire at 432 Ferndale Court Buffalo Grove, Il. Police on scene first reported smoke showing. Some Buffalo Grove firefighter/paramedics responded to the fire call after finishing up at a crash call that was dispatched at 8:14 p.m. at Buffalo Grove Road and Half Day Road near Mariano’s.
Engine 26’s crew on arrival of the house fire call reported smoke showing from a single family residence, and upgraded the call to a working fire call at 8:37 p.m..
Two residents were evaluated for smoke inhalation by paramedics at the scene, but were not transported to a hospital.
A secondary search of the home was clear by 8:57 p.m.
The fire was extinguished within five minutes, and some crews from other towns were returned by 9:03 p.m.
