A bride groom were on board a United Airlines aircraft in Houston, Texas waiting to depart to Costa Rica to get married, but the couple changed seats.

The couple didn’t think changing seats would be a problem since the flight was half full. The seats they moved to were considered upgraded seats, and flight staff asked them to move back to their assigned seats.

The couple claims they were asked to move back to their assigned seats, and complied, but were ordered off the plane anyway.

United reports the couple was repeatedly asked to return to their assigned seats, and didn’t follow the flight crew’s instructions.
