Area police department K9’s bark with approval at Arlington Heights Police Officer Kevin Sullivan’s thanks for kind words and support following this week’s news of early medical retirement for K9 Layka.

Arlington Heights Police K9 Layka was officially retired with her partner Officer Kevin Sullivan (truly one of Arlington’s finest) at her side at Monday Night’s Village Board Meeting, March 20, 2017. Also attending the retirement ceremony were police officers and K9’s from Bolingbrook Police Department, Rolling Meadows Police Department, Hoffman Estates Police Department, Elk Grove Police Department, Palatine Police Department, Northbrook Police Department, and Schaumburg Police Department.
