Earth is the third planet from the Sun at an average 92.9 million miles f Venus is by far the hottest planet in the Solar System, with a mean surface temperature of 735 K (462 °C; 863 °F), even though Mercury is closer to the Sun. Venus is shrouded by an opaque layer of highly reflective clouds of sulfuric acid, preventing the surface of Venus from being seen from space in visible light. Venus may have had water oceans in the past, but the oceans would have vaporized as the temperature rose due to an extreme greenhouse effect.

In the video below, Venus does not appear; but Kurt Davis appears to have his camera pointing east somewhere northwest of O’Hare International Airport. The main feature shows the constellation Orion rising and aircraft approaching and department O’Hare. The air traffic appears to be too busy to be Midway.
