Montgomery, Illinois police responded about 9:30 p.m. Friday to the block of 2000 Kate Court for a possible death of two people, and are now investigating the stabbing deaths of two people found at the single-family residence just south of Base Line Road (US 30) west of Orchard Road.
A 48-year-old man and a 55-year-old woman — a married couple — were found with multiple stab wounds and pronounced dead at the scene, according to Montgomery Police.
The victims’ identities were being withheld until family have been notified.
Montgomery is a village in Kane and Kendall counties, Illinois, located about four miles southwest of Aurora, 11 miles west of Naperville, and just south of I-88. The population of Montgomery has experienced recent rapid growth in population (5,471 in 2000 and 18,438 in 2010)
