Suspicious Person Scatters Candy at Windsor Elementary School Playground on Halloween, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report somte time before 5:45 PM Monday of a suspicious person near the Windsor School playground, 1315 East Miner Street Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a 9-1-1 from at least one of three witnesses reporting that an unknown man was tossing candy onto the playground near the playground dome after school on Halloween, October 31, 2016.

The unidentified man was described as about 35-years-old, wearing orange shorts and a wig.

He was last seen walking on Campbell Street south of the Windsor school property.

The incident is reported to have occurred some time after school and before 5:45 p.m. The exact time of the incident was not available at the time of this report.

Adults on the scene made cleaned up all candy that was found on the ground in the area.
