Chicago Bulls star forward Scottie Pippen will be present from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Saturday, August 27, 2016 at the grand re-opening of the Des Plaines Kmart, 1155 E. Oakton Street (SW corner of Oakton Street and Mannheim Road).
The event will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony, as well as prize giveaways, and live entertainment beginning at 9:00 a.m.
The Rise Challenge basketball dunk competition, the final stop on a nationwide tour of four top dunking athletes, is at 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. (see Kmart Risewear)
