Martin County, Florida, authorities say double homicide suspect Florida State University student Austin Harrouff may have ingested something and may not survive.

A Martin County Sheriff’s Office female deputy arrived about 9:20 p.m. Monday August 15, 2016 to a report of an attack at a Tequesta, Florida home, and found a 19-year-old biting a dead man’s face. Austin Harrouff, a 19-year-old Florida State University student with no criminal record, was found on the property at the South Florida home at 19009 SE Kokomo Way Monday where a husband and wife were stabbed to death.

The FSU student was apparently under the influence of a drug and was found biting off parts of the male victim’s face. A suspected drug ingested may be partly responsible for the bizarre behavior, and maybe causing the illness of the homicide suspect, who is listed in grave or critical condition at St. Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach.
