Health officials warn pregnant women to avoid traveling to the major Florida tourist destination.

Hot Zone: Five new patients have been infected by mosquitoes — two live in the county, and three are tourists.

The new area is less than 7 miles from the Wynwood neighborhood, where about two dozen cases have already been identified since mid-July 2016.

Pregnant women are warned to avoid the entire Miami-Dade county area, not just the areas of the two hot zones.

There remains concern the virus will threaten the $24 billion per year tourist industry in Florida.

The Miami area’s $24 billion beach tourism industry is at risk following a new travel warning for an area of Miami Beach after five people were infected by mosquito-born Zika, including three tourists.
