Snow Plow Blades Valued at $12,000 Stolen from Arlington Heights Ford Remote Lot on Campus Drive, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 5:31 AM Saturday of a commercial burglary at Arlington Heights Ford remote inventory lot, 580 West Campus Drive Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders used an unknown vehicle to smash through the gate at the dealership’s remote lot and steal two Western Pro Plows Series (8-foot snow plow blade) from the lot. The value of the snow plow blades were estimated at $12,000.00.

The offenders also forced entry to a locked shed on the property, but did not remove any property from the shed.

The crime is reported to have occurred between Friday, July 22, 2016 at 8:30 AM and Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 5:30 AM. The elapsed time range including the time the crime could have occurred is 21:00 (hours: minutes).

Police have alternate ways to transmit tactical, operational or investigative information, while still keeping their main public dispatch channels open for the best balance of public safety and police safety.
