Chicago police responded about 7:27 PM Tuesday to a report of an aggravated discharge of a firearm on eastbound I-290 (Eisenhower Expressway near Cicero Avenue Chicago, IL. Police received a report that occupants of a silver Ford Focus and a green Town & Country were stopping in the expressway, fighting and firing weapons at each other.
The vehicles were reported to have exited the eastbound Eisenhower Expressway (I-290) at Independence Boulevard about 7:29 p.m.
The crime was initially reported in progress about 7:27 p.m. Tuesday.
Independence Boulevard is a little over one mile east of Cicero Avenue.
