Armand’s Pizzeria in Arlington Heights announced plans to move to the former location of Circa 57 — the elaborate 1950s-style diner that closed September 2015 at Vail Avenue and Campbell Street.

Amand’s owner Anthony Gambino, a restaurateur who owns 10 Armand’s in the City of Chicago and suburbs, Salseria and HB Jones in Elmhurst , said Friday he looks forward to relocating to the bigger restaurant space.

Armand’s will close its location at 70 North Vail Avenue at the southwest corner of Vail Avenue and Wing Street at the end of November 2016 and open at the new location at 101 W. Campbell Street at the southwest corner of Vail Avenue and Campbell Street on December 1, 2016.

Diners and Drivers
The restaurant plans to partner with Halfway House Golf to include a room with golf simulators, like the golf simulators at HB Jones. Diners bring their own clubs and balls and play in front of a virtual screen.

Armand’s has been in the Chicago area for almost 60 years.

The sale of the 4,700-square-foot former Circa 57 space closed on May 23, 2016 with a purchase price of $1,325,000.

Currently Gambino said his company is renting the Armand’s space on Vail. Avenue

No tenant has been announced for Armand’s old location when their old space becomes available.
