Illinois State Police responded about 11:30 PM Sunday to a report of a hit-and-run crash with no injuries near westbound (northbound) I-290 and Biesterfield Rd Elk Grove Village, IL. Police received a report that a black 2006 Honda CRV was rear-ended just north of the Biesterfield Road bridge.
The offending vehicle is described as an older model brown van — possibly a Chevy Astro Van. The offending vehicle would have front end damage and possibly black paint transfer. The offending vehicle continued westbound (northbound ) on I-290.l
The crime is reported to have occurred about 11:30 p.m. Sunday.
