Police released without charge freelance journalist Faycal Cheffou.

Belgium’s federal prosecutor’s office reports it had freed a man originally identified only as Faycal C. The Belgian prosecutor reported there was no evidence to justify holding him. He had been charged on Saturday with “terrorist murder”.

Also related to the terrorist bombing cases in the November 2015 Paris attacks and the March 2016 Brussels attacks, Italian police released a mugshot of Algerian national Djamal Eddine Ouali, who was detained near Salerno on Saturday on suspicion of having provided false documents to militants involved in the deadly Brussels and Paris attacks.

Belgian police on Monday released CCTV footage of the third suspect (previously seen) in the Brussels airport blasts. The third suspect was walking alongside the two presumed suicide bombers.
