President Barack Obama Challenges Media on ISIS Coverage During NPR Interview

During an interview with NPR, President Barack Obama suggested saturated media coverage of ISIS could be fueling terror fears in the United States.

In an interview with NPR President Barack Obama said, “The media is pursuing ratings … this is a legitimate news story. There is no doubt that the actions of ISIL are designed to amplify their power.” He added that the media saturation of ISIS “amplifies their power.”

He said, “We’ve put together an increasingly effective coalition.”
