Republican Presidential Candidate Ted Cruz gets in a heated back-and-forth with CNBC’s moderators.

The CNBC moderators got an earful after moderator Carl Quintanilla asked Texas Senator Ted Cruz, “with Congressional Democrats, Republicans and the White House are about to strike a compromise that would raise the debt limit, prevent a government shutdown, and calm financial markets that fear that fear another Washington-created crisis is on the way. Does your opposition to it show that you’re not the kind of problem-solver American voters want?”

Cruz replied that the debate is not a cage match.

Cruz asks, “How about talking about the substantive issues that people care about?”

Cruz called the questions of the debate a case study in mainstream media bias.
