Leslie Moonves, president and chief executive officer at CBS, discusses the network’s relationship with Netflix as a friend and competitor and what they may have up their sleeve with Apple. He speaks on “Bloomberg ‹GO›.” (Oct. 14)

CBS executives have content value meetings that decide where to sell content products or keep the content on their own channel.

CBS Access want their content on CBS. Their executives don’t want CBS to sell their content to Netflix.

If people the skinny bundle CBS All Access

NetFlix is in the business of content, and so is CBS, but CBS also earns money distributing content to NetFlix. They are a friend and customer, and they are a competitor.

Moonves said he thinks Apple will have their own streaming service, but he doesn’t know when.
