Wheeling police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 4:52 AM Friday to a report of crash with injuries at Lake Cook Road between Milwaukee Avenue and Northgate Wheeling, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report of a car vs pole crash on eastbound Lake Cook Road between Milwaukee Avenue and Northgate. The crash was actually located in the westbound lanes.
Police on the scene report the crash is westbound in front of the Angus building.
One person with possible serious injuries and a light pole down.
Live electric wires were exposed from the downed pole and under the crashed vehicle.
