Residential Burglary Attempt at Condo on East Algonquin Rd Near Goebbert Rd, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 10:01 PM Sunday of an attempted residential burglary in the block of 600 East Algonquin Road Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders attempted to enter the residence by shattering the glass of a rear sliding glass door.

A metal pipe was found near the damaged door. Damage was also found on the door knob of the front door. Entry wasn’t made to the residence.

The cost to repair the damage was unknown at the time of the police report.

The crime is reported to have occurred between Thursday, August 20, 2015 at 12:00 PM and Sunday, August 30, 2015 at 10:00 PM. The elapsed time range including the time the crime could have occurred is 250:00 (hours: minutes) or about 10 days.
