Gasoline Spill from Pickup Truck on Wilke Rd Just North of Northwest Highway, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 10:04 AM Thursday to a report of a gasoline leak at Northwest Highway and Wilke Road Arlington Heights, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that about 20 gallons of gasoline leaked from a Dodge Ram pickup truck connected to a trailer on Wilke Road just north of Northwest Highway.

On scene firefighters were told that only about 8 gallons leaked from the truck.

No extended HazMat operation was expected at the scene, and the truck and trailer were towed from the scene.

The Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago was notified.
