Dash cam video shows an Austin Police officer taking action on a traffic stop after realizing a woman is choking.

Austin Texas police officer Dustin Clinkscales was working a traffic stop when he realized the female driver couldn’t talk or breathe. Clinkscales administered back blows in an attempt to dislodge the obstruction. He then switched to abdominal thrusts from behind — also known as the Heimlich maneuver. A biscuit was dislodged, but the woman fainted, and Clinkscales lowered her gently to the ground.

What started as a traffic stop for someone using their cell phone while driving July 5 ended with an Austin police officer saving the driver from choking.

After applying the thrusts three times, the biscuit was dislodged.
