Schaumburg police received a report that on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at approximately 5:45 PM, a white male in his 30s, wearing a bright orange cap and driving a black pickup truck, stopped his vehicle at Jaycee Park, 922 Cornell Lane, Schaumburg.
The man stopped near two grammar school-aged children who were walking in the area. The male driver allegedly stated, “you want a ride?” at which point, the children ran home and the black pickup drove away without further incident.
