Chicagoland weather radar shows an area of precipitation over northern Illinois. At about 11:31 a.m. the rain snow line was marked from Waukegan to Michigan City, Inciana.

A total accumulation of 0.8 inch of snow is forecast for Arlington Heights by midnight. Actual snowfall may be less, if no new precipitation develops compared to current observation on radar at 11:31 a.m. Lingering snow flurries are expected to continue until about 11:00 a.m. Tuesday.
