Power Outage Reported Along Arlington Heights Rd at Park St and White Oak, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 12:03 PM Friday of a power outage with stop lights out at Arlington Heights Road and Park Street Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report from a patrol officer that the stop lights were out and that there was an apparent power failure near Arlington Heights Road and Park Street.

The stoplights were also dark at Arlington Heights Road and White Oak Street.

Initially, the ComEd outage map showed a scheduled outage for about 77 customers near Ridge Avenue and Olive Street.

Later a power outage of unknown cause was reported by ComEd — possibly with the source of the problem near Dunton Avenue and Fairview Street.
