Truck Fire with Hazardous Chemicals on Board on Algonquin Rd East Of Meijer Dr, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 3:04 PM Wednesday to a report of a truck fire with possible hazardous materials at 763 West Algonquin Road Arlington Heights, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that a truck transporting nitrogen and acetylene was on fire.

First firefighters on the scene reported no smoke showing, but then reported some light smoke showing.

Firefighters were investigating and hooking up to fire hydrants at about 3:15 p.m.
