Small Fire at McDonald’s at Northwest Highway Near Wilke Rd, Palatine

Palatine police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 12:34 PM Wednesday to a fire at McDonald’s 1570 East Northwest Highway Palatine, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report of a fire at McDonald’s with employees and customers being evacuated. Firefighters received a report that some customers were still trying to enter the restaurant.

First firefighters on arrival reported light smoke coming from the roof.

The fire was reported out by about 12:45 p.m.

Firefighters from Arlington Heights and Rolling Meadows assisted Palatine firefighters.
