A dash cam video camera captured the terrifying plight of two women who became trapped on an 80-foot-high railroad bridge when a freight train surprised them as they walked along the tracks.

Two women walking on the 500-foot-long, 80-foot-high Shuffle Creek bridge known on Thursday, July 10, 2014 at 6:50 a.m. changed to a run as the train engineer heading for Lake Lemon, Indiana applied the brakes to slow the 14,000-ton freight train down from 30mph.

Indiana Rail Road Company railroad personnel believe they have a license plate of the vehicle belonging to two women who ran along a railroad bridge to avoid being hit by the train, and then got down on the tracks between the rails to let the train run over them. There are only 10 inches of vertical space from the ground rail bed to the lowest structure on the moving train.

Criminal trespass charges are expected to brought against the women if an when they are found.
