D’Andre Howard, accused in the triple murder of a Hoffman Estates family in 2009, has been found guilty on all counts. Jurors deliberated for about three hours.
Last week, Amanda Engelhardt testified during the murder trial that D’Andre Howard stabbed his fiancee’s family after the couple got into an argument. Her father, Alan, 57; sister, Laura, 18; and grandmother Marlene Gacek, 73; were killed in the attack.
Amanda Engelhardt’s mother was wounded in the attack.
Howard’s attorneys argued D’Andre Howard was insane at the time of the attack.
