Family reunited with man who stopped to help after deer hit car on I-90.
A man, who CBS 2 Chicago did not identify, was the only rescuer who helped Heidi Conner and her children last Sunday when a deer fell off the Route 72 overpass onto their minivan traveling in the westbound lanes of I-90. The man’s daughter helped console Heidi Conner’s children while they waited for police and firefighter/paramedics to arrive.
Heidi Conner’s minivan was totaled, and unfortunately was only covered by liability insurance.
