Palatine police received a report about 9:01 PM Thursday of a residential burglary in the block of 1400 North Driftwood Ave Palatine, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders made entry to a home — possibly through an unlocked sliding patio door.
The offender or offenders then looked through the upstairs rooms, opening several doors and drawers, and then left through the same main level slider door. Taken was US currency. The residential burglary case is under investigation.
The crime is reported to have occurred on Thursday, May 1, 2014 between 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.
