CTA Blue Line Train Crashes Through Terminal Stop into Escalator at O’Hare, No Blue Line Service at O’Hare

Chicago police and firefighters responded about 3:00 a.m. to a CTA Blue Line derailment at the main platform at the bottom of the escalators at O’Hare International Airport. At least 30 people were triaged with minor injuries to awaiting ambulances and the Chicago Fire Department Medical Transportation Bus.

The train crashed through the terminal bumper at the end of the line and crashed into an escalator.
