Gang Graffiti Reported on South Arthur Ave Near Central Rd, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 9:01 AM Saturday of criminal defacement of property at 870 S Arthur Avenue Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders spray painted “LK” –which stands for Latin Kings — and an upward facing pitchfork on a dumpster behind a business on south Arthur Avenue.

The crime is reported to have occurred between Friday, February 28, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. and Saturday, March 1, 2014 at 9:00 a.m.

The area has some history of criminal defacement with buildings and trailers being tagged.
