Residential Burglary on East Rosehill Drive, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 3:23 PM Friday of a residential burglary in the block of 1500 East Rosehill Drive Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders burglarized a Home on the north side of Arlington Heights Near Palatine Road and Windsor.

Police received a report that residents arived home and noticed that the exterior rear door to the family room was opened and that items in the family room were disturbed. The residents immediately left the house and called the police.

Closer inspection revealed that the back door was forced open by an unknown pry tool.

Missing were two XBox controllers and an XBox 360 — taken from the family room.

The master bedroom was ransacked and unknown amount of jewelry was taken from the dresser.

No loss estimate is available at this time, and the damage estimate to the rear door is also not available at this time.

The crime is reported to have occurred on Friday, December 27, 2013 between 1:30 p.m. and 3:22 p.m.
