Suspect Identity Released in Vehicle Hijacking and Hit-and-Run Case That Killed Donovan Turnage, Age 11, in Chicago

Police have released the identity of a suspect in at least 3 carjackings and a fatal hit-and-run crash that killed 11-year-old Donovan Turnage. Rockie Douglas, age 34, is also a suspect in a number of other robberies and criminal incidents ranging from Chicago to Wisconsin.

Douglas may be driving a light blue, 2007, 4-door Honda Accord with Illinois license plate X14477. The vehicle is third vehicle that Douglas allegedly carjecked from the area of northbound I-294 and Interstate 88.

Douglas is known to have displayed a blue steel handgun either Friday or Saturday.

Police are urging any citizens with information about the incidents or Rockie Douglas to contact police by either calling 911 or contacting Chicago Police Area Central Detectives at 312-747-8380 or by calling Illinois State Police at 630-241-6800.
