Apple iPad Stolen While Resident Unloads Groceries into House on North Vail Ave, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report on Sunday of a theft in the block of 800 North Vail Avenue Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders took a white a 16 GB Apple iPad from a purse while the owner was taking groceries into their residence from their vehicle. The Apple iPad was left in the unsecured white 2013 Kia Optima parked in the resident’s driveway while the resident took in the groceries. The Apple iPad is valued at $499.

The crime is reported to have occurred on Saturday, November 30, 2013, but the resident did not discover the theft until Sunday, December 1, 2013.
