House Fire on Bluebird Lane Involves Gas Supply Line to a Stove, Rolling Meadows

Rolling Meadows police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 5:00 PM Wednesday to a report of a house fire at 4004 Bluebird Lane Rolling Meadows, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics reported a fire involving a gas line supplying the stove. Firefighters shut off the gas line and immediately extinguished the fire. Residents were immediately evacuated from the house, and no injuries were reported.

Fire command called for a working fire response, but firefighters extinguished the fire before the working fire response crews arrived.

Arlington Heights Fire Department Tower responded to the call, but was held up as first on-scene crews extinguished the fire.

The fire is under investigation.
