Freddy Robles, of Chicago, Sentenced For Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm In Palatine

Freddy Robles, age 19, of the 2500 block of Oak Park Avenue, Chicago was sentenced to four years in prison on November 4, 2013 in exchange for a guilty plea to aggravated discharge of a firearm. Robles was also ordered to pay about $2,000 in fines.

The shooting took place on May 4, 2013 in the 1800 block of Green Lane North in Palatine.

Palatine police investigation discovered a shattered window bullet holes in an apartment wall, after a resident reported he was awakened by gunfire.

Several people were outside the apartment at the time. Chicago police assisted Palatine police in the investigation that led to the arrest of Robles.

Robles received 151 days credit for time he already spent in jail since his arrest in June 2013.
