Residential Burglary Attempt at Vacant House Near St. James Church on Arlington Heights Rd, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 4:31 PM Tuesday of a residential burglary attempt at a vacant house set for demolition, 815 North Arlington Heights Road Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders may have attempted to burglarize vacant home, just south of St. James Parish.

Unknown offender(s) pushed through the boarded up front door on a vacant residence and may have attempted to take scrap metal. A scrap metal truck had been seen parked next to the residence. It is unknown if anything was taken.

The crime was discovered on Tuesday September 24, 2013 at 4:30 p.m.
