Vehicle Burglary at Metra Train Station Near Northwest Highway and Wilke Rd, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 5:01 PM Tuesday of a vehicle burglary at the Metra train station near Northwest Highway and Wilke Road, 2121 West Northwest Highway Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders burglarized a gray 2012 Honda Accord. Offender(s) used a baseball sized rock to shatter the passenger side window. The offender(s) removed a Vera Bradley coind purse valued at $20, a free Apple iPod Touch valued at $200, and a few music CDs valued at $20. The damage estimate for the window is estimated at $200.

The crime is reported to have occurred on Tuesday August 27, 2013 between 7:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
