Palatine police received a report about 5:31 AM Wednesday of a vehicle burglary on a private drivewa in the block of 700 East Morris Drive Palatine, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders burglarized a 1999 Plymouth minivan with an unknown method.
Unknown offender(s) took a Makita tool bag with miscellaneous tools (unknown value) and a black duffel bag with football equipment (unknown value).
The crime is reported to have occurred between Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at 11:30 p.m. and Wednesday August 21, 2013 at 5:30 a.m.

Police have alternate ways to transmit tactical, operational or investigative information, while still keeping their main public dispatch channels open for the best balance of public safety and police safety.
